Paula Mitas Zoubek was the curator at Santé for more than a decade, with a focus on promoting the works of emerging artists. Her own work reflects, in various ways, her concern for nature, her neighbourhood, and the plight of women and children. Paula is one of the professional artists whose work can be seen during the West End Studio Tour, to be held in the last two weeks of September 2010.
Terry Sametz is a professional artist who works in many media, from photography to painted sculptural works. His work has been in national art shows across Canada. Recently Terry was the first Canadian selected as curator for the International show at the Frederic Remington Museum in Ogdensburg NY. Terry is honoured to become Santé Restaurant Gallery’s new curator and thanks Paula Zoubek for her support of Ottawa’s visual artists.
